Spanish Definite & Indefinite Article

©RCAguilar
OBJECTIVE:
Know when you're saying "a" something or "some" somethings. You have to keep an eye on whether nouns are masculine or feminine.
TASK:
Study the patterns below, and observe what happens with the different nouns, especially noting if you're talking about 1 or more than one, if they're masculine or feminine.
PERPLEXED?
You have to get away from the notion of looking at everything and knowing that that particular something is a "he" and the other one over there a "she" and everything else is an "it." There's no such thing in Spanish - at all !!!
Exercise:
After studying this page thoroughly, pick a list of nouns to go to and use it to go straight down the vocabulary lists doing exactly as was done on this page.
Go straight down and say "a ___," using whatever noun is there, keeping an eye on whether it's masculine or feminine.
Go straight down and say "some ___," using the plural form of the noun given, remembering masculine or feminine.
Go straight down and say "the ___," using each noun, noting masculine or feminine.
