Spanish Verb Conjugation: Indicative Mood: Future Tense
Future Tense: Verbs with Irregular Stems

©RCAguilar

OBJECTIVE:
Spend a LOT of time with these verbs.
TASK:
Many of the verbs in this listing are more frequently used than many other verbs in the Spanish language, making it imperative that these forms be thoroughly mastered.
PERPLEXED?
This WILL take some effort!
Why are these so hard?
Because. ----- Don't ever ask me "Why?" !!!
I've read that these verbs are the nearest counterparts to the old Latin, but haven't truly verified that through my studies of the Latin language.
What I WILL tell you though (... used the English future there, folks!) is that these verbs are crucial elements in the Spanish language, therefore need to be meticulously studied and learned.
But then, that's how you ever really learn anything: by working at it diligently and meticulously.
And keep your eyes peeled: It's only the stems that are a problem, because the endings for these are the same as for all other verbs.

What do you say in Spanish to get the point across that someone is going to do something?
To make a statement in the future in Spanish, you use the counterpart of "going to," which is "ir a."
That would be "to go" + "to."
